Final from Erlanger.

Great updates as usual! Wish I was there to sit in with all the BGP peeps in the house. I wasn't so I did the next best thing.......thread jack the update thread

A good blowout by the Dogs. Hopefully they can keep playing well and get some momentum for the districts and regional.

Fun Fact, Scott and Holmes will play again a week from today at Scott.

Scott did do a good job with limiting James Bolden tonight. If I remember correctly, Coach Carr has done a great job slowing him down in the past. But unfortunately can't figure out a way to stop the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th options.

21 pts, 11 rbs for Rod Avery, including 2 dunks. After the oop dunk one of the refs looked at me and said "please tell me you got that on film" ...it was legit.

Bolden finished with 12 pts, 8 rbs, 5 ast.

Really balanced scoring night with McClendon tallying 21 pts and Mullins going for 19 & 8.

Scott was led by Ohmer with 24 & 10 ( 4 of 16 shooting), Schneider with 21, & Trame with 14.

Holmes is getting better game by game and really starting to play like they were expected to at the beginning of the season. Scott led 43-41 at the half but having Avery for the entire 2nd half while playing with 3 fouls was the difference. That and their depth wore Scott out.

Bolden scored when he wanted to. Missed a couple off balanced shots near the rim but really didnt look for his shot much because of how well McClendon, Mullins, & Avery were playing.

Bolden scored when he wanted

That is a bit much. He seemed to miss a lot of shots.

Glad to see McLendon get the MVP , we'll deserved, he has played very good since the Harrison Co. Game, I think he is very under appreciated in the ninth region, when Holmes gets balanced scoring, they are a tuff out, always impressed by Coach Carrs team, they play so hard and have some pure shooters, best of luck to both teams the rest of the year, will be a interesting rematch next week.

McClendon was money tonite.

Should be the same result..

McClendon is a very good player. Is he just a Soph?
