Simmons saw me holding a camera late in the game last night. He turned and looked at me and said, "we're gonna shock that state! Put that on there!"

 

That kid has some serious confidence...and he backs it right up on the court. I like that a lot.

As one who worked radio for 25 years, it's not uncommon for a coach to decline an interview especially after a tough loss. The guy has a lot of class!

 

Here's the thing the guy from the radio asked him before the game if he wanted to comment at half and end of the game. He said yes and sure did it at half up 15.

If for nothing else,,,it will make for a more interesting LIT.....

Maybe he subscribes to the Bambi's Mama's Theory: If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.

One of only two chances we'll get to possibly see a Trinity/Ballard game this year, to say nothing of the rest of that field, which will be really interesting to see. Can't wait to see what the pairings look like.

Glad I'm not the only one who shares the sentiment that ray should get the ball more. But then again I'm a disgruntled X "refugee" who isn't qualified to question Szabo, so what do I know. :lol:

I'll reply for him. Ray should touch the ball every trip down the floor if possible. He draws so much attention that somebody will be open. When I watched he usually finds them,then again he only touched the ball once out of 10 trips down the floor. He was working his butt off and begging for the ball!! Come on give it to him and you will win....geez

Then I guess since it's not class we can describe it as a cry baby. Come on guys it's a high school game and class would at least be a kudos to the winning team.
