December 16, 201411 yr Do they have any positive proof that it was someone's pet? It's not out of the realm of possibility that it could be a wild animal. This isn't a Siberian Tiger or a Lion roaming around, it is in animal that at one time was native to this area. Let's just say it is a wild animal, then I do see a very logical argument for why you don't shoot it... People are more likely to believe in "Big Foot" than a wild mountain lion. :lol2:

In the article I quoted its been proven that they have roamed as far as 1500 miles. I'm just saying its not out of the realm of possibility. HIGHLY unlikely, yes but not impossible.
