December 14, 201411 yr Uh......UCLA looks like they start 4 white guys and an Egyptian..... Also, Wiltjer looks quick vs UCLA....actually I would love to see him at UK still...
December 14, 201411 yr Through 10 games, UK has only one player that has a double figures scoring average: WCS at 10.3 ppg.
December 14, 201411 yr Through 10 games' date=' UK has only one player that has a double figures scoring average: WCS at 10.3 ppg.[/quote'] .....And?
December 14, 201411 yr If my math is right' date=' UK only has 3 games in the next 27 days.[/quote'] Camp Cal.
December 14, 201411 yr Today's game sure was fun to watch. When this team is shooting, they are scary good. Waiting a whole week to watch them again sucks haha!
December 14, 201411 yr Call me crazy, but I think Texas is better than North Carolina (even without their starting PG). We're talking about a North Carolina team who was beaten at home by Iowa. Iowa State, playing without leading scorer Bryce Dejean-Jones, went into Iowa this week and beat them 90-75. Maybe I'm a Debbie Downer, but a 14 point home win over one of the worst UNC teams in a long time isn't something I'm going to hang my hat on. Quality win against a team who had some talent and needed a win, but this won't end up being one of our most impressive results come year's end.

Enjoy the ride.

Lost to Iowa at home. Iowa State crushes Iowa at home without their best player. Not a very talented UNC team and maybe not even top 25.

It's not a marquee win but it is a good win.

December 14, 201411 yr 11-0 and no one has came within single digits. Enjoy the ride. I'm enjoying it and loving it. I'm just saying that us being able to handle UNC's pressure and speeding up the game means absolutely nothing to me in terms of the bear that is dealing with Louisville's pressure and attempts to dictate the tempo-- absolutely nothing. IF we beat Louisville, I think there's a real chance at an undefeated season, with the landmines being agaisnt Florida, LSU, Tennessee, and possibly Auburn/South Carolina if Pearl/Martin just have their team up and we overlook them. All of those are manageable. I worry so much about the Louisville game because that's the last clear and present danger between us and a promising chance at an undefeated season, which would be one for the ages, and being the fact that we replace Bobby Knight in doing it makes it that much sweeter.

I am sure Pitino will have a better gameplan than any coach that we will face all season. However I still wouldn't worry much about it. Cal's teams have never really had problems with Pitino's press. While his press is dangerous, the Kentucky team will be throwing fast break lobs the entire game if they figure out how to beat the press. Also you need to make baskets to impliment a press, I could see that being an issue for UL.
December 14, 201411 yr I agree with you I think Texas is our best win this season so far. Texas is the best team UK has beaten. The manner in which the Cats beat Kansas makes that the most impressive win IMO. Texas will be really good when they get healthy.
