The Colonels couldn't find one other team that could fill this date?

 

So they play Trinity, St. X, BELLEVUE, Campbell Co., Knott Co. Central, and then the tough "Republic Bank Classic" within the next couple of weeks.

 

What a way to throw their rhythm off.

 

I don't even recall the last time CovCath has ever scheduled Bellevue. Maybe the 1970's?

 

Hope there's no crazy injuries as a result of this game.

 

I honestly can't think of one thing either of these teams stand to gain from this game.

 

Perhaps for the Colonels it's to clear the bench early and often to get some of those guys some varsity minutes.

 

Would love to know who was behind this, and what they were thinking. :idunno:

As I recall... Few weeks back people were applauding the "tough competition" approach by Bellevue....

In terms of experienced talent, Silver Grove had the most coming back this year in D3... Turcios, Miller, Kuntz, Politt, etc. And they've been playing together pretty much since they learned to dribble a ball.

Agree. They have a group of athletes that work well together. I'm rooting for them to have a nice senior season.

Pollitt name sounds familiar. Wasnt there a Randy Pollitt in the late 70s at SG?

Unlike others, I have no problem with Covcath scheduling Bellevue and actually think it's good for Bellevue to approach a team like Covcath and try to get better. Kudos to Ruthsatz for allowing his assistant to schedule the game. (His assistant coach handles all of the scheduling, from my understanding)
