Some of those foul calls shouldn't have been called. Refs too touchy and favored NCC. Close game most of the way regardless of end score

Refs alwys touchy in early December.

Taking nothing away from Cooper,,But NCC # 2/3 in the state, Really have to question that deal.

There was some questionable calls both ways. I would find it very hard to question their ranking after only seeing one or two games. #22 for Cooper can flat out play and #5 was very impressive for a frosh. NCC did not play well overall. Didn't do a very good job of switching on defense and allowed some open looks that Cooper knocked down. Cooper just outplayed them at times. In the end Weyer and McDonald proved to be the deference. Moeves had a really good game as well. Wish I would have see a little more of Pangallo but he got in early foul trouble. His defense caused some issues for Cooper in the 2nd half. Shout out to Brian Anderson for a good shooting and defensive game. Cooper is a well coached team and could make a good run through the 9th this year.

McDonald for NCC was awesome tonight. Couldn't stop him inside, he was a beast. S McNeil for Cooper #22 is so much fun to watch and he has grown a few inches from last year and can also dunk now. He will have all the schools scoring records before his time is done.

I would agree that Cooper outplayed the Breds at times, but you have to credit Coopers style of play for that. They did a great job of being patient in their offense waiting to get the right shot off and did a great job of setting screens for McNeil. Coach Sullivan does a great job with his team in this regard.

Pangallo in foul trouble in the 1st half didn't help the Breds cause, but Brian Anderson (8pts.) did a great job filling in for him (hit some clutch treys and played some great "D"). Zach had a solid 2nd half on defense. Grant Moeves had a great game on both offense, (14pts.)/multiple assist, and defense.

Cooper had no answer for McDonald (22pts.) and Weyer (14pts/5 blks.) down low. Drew had some great moves to the basket and a couple nice assist. Weyer and his long arms are going to make getting off a shot down low a challenge.

McNeil for Cooper is legit, kid can flat out play and as a nice stroke from anywhere on the floor. Impressed with the Frosh Kunkel, made some key shots. Cooper will give teams all the want with their style of play, as with all of Coach Sullivan's teams. This will be a fun team to watch.

Breds not back in action until Tuesday Dec. 16th up on the "hill" against Boone Co.

Don't seem to be a big NewCath fan. Not impressed with team or McDonald. I thought they beat a really good Cooper team at their place by 11 and McDonald had 22 and about 10 rebounds. Sounds like a good night to me.

He takes any opportunity he gets to bash 9th region teams...I wouldn't worry about his comments too much. Sounds like McDonald had a really good game against a solid Cooper front court. :thumb:

I think McDonald did play well, however our key matchup for the spot was on the bench early with foul trouble. Had the refs been less touchy he may have had more competition. But what happened happened, I think if teams build a plan to stop their big three they could be beat.

Easier said than done.
