A couple of thoughts.. The most logical one is that Brown was his primary recruiter, now that Brown is leaving maybe he wants to know who will be running the offense before committing.

 

Second thought is that I was told he took a visit to UL today. I had no idea Louisville was recruiting him, can anyone confirm if they have been or not?

I blame the Highlands posters that hated he had his own thread aftet the Ashland/Highlands game. :lol2:

Then we both are consistent in our lack of worth while posting.

Kids who have parents who were gifted athletically tend to live in that shadow. The one that is cast by all of those who say "yeah but he isnt as good as his dad was" I think Baker is one of these kids. He is not Al, different people different skill sets completely, with the lone exception being speed. I believe this is a positive step for Baker the person. It feels like for once he is going to be Quinton and step out of that shadow. He doesnt have to emulate his father. He can choose his own path. I believe that if he chooses to recommit with UK, and I believe this is very possible, it will be on his terms. For all those that want to say he cant play at some level. He doesnt have to prove anything to that group either. I hope and pray that whatever he chooses ends up being the perfect situation for him.

Wether Coach Brown is gone or not I don't blame the kid. If I were a top talent I would make UK sell me on why they fell a part at the end and what prevents that from happening going forward.
