UK wouldn't have been able to run out the clock even if he made that play, so "not so fast my friend". There were a lot of plays that could have changed the outcome, but we will never know since they were not made, and in a few cases, shouldn't have been made.

I would tend to argue the late hit on Bolin giving UL a first down instead of 4th was a bigger play. The next play he throws a TD. Besides, if the int was made there was still over 4:00 on the clock.

HA! The only thing embarrassing was the drop pick that would have sealed the game. Both teams were chippy the whole game. Classic UL fan to call it "bush league" when they opponent punches back.

 

Punches back? UK started all the "chippy-ness" by instigating several altercations before the game even started. That just carried over to the game.

I thought about that tonight & I don't believe so. He picked UL up & got them going. Parker was great & made Bolin look good at times, but you have to give the kid credit for having the guts to come in and more than get it done.

I still haven't seen anything yet. Only thing I heard post-game was that he was on crutches and not putting any weight on the leg...

I loved the altercations before the game, it gave UK the right mentality for the rest of the game and set the tone. For the first time in weeks UK was the hammer on a lot of plays. Also UL fans get off your high horse when your head coach was in the middle of it as well where UK's was not. But anyways, really impressed with Bolin today. He has the moxy of a veteran out there.

My problem with the pre-game stuff was that some of the woofing came from UK guys that weren't even playing.

Not have been. Although I agree that this tactic did get UK in a fighting frame of mind and played far better than they had been.
