UL fans had the Stadium Rocking. I bet there was 12k of us today. Only second time I have been to South Bend. It's awesome experience. ND fans great group of fans.

Was at the game. Nd fan from Ky so was not upset by the loss of the Irish ....Cards outplayed them....

 

 

However....Irish won in the "class" category........biggest example of the level of class shown by the cards..........before the game started, ND was announcing the seniors and had them walk from the tunnel to meet their parents in the middle of the field. There were 4 Cards that just couldn't wait until the seniors were announced. They had to come running out of the tunnel with 5 players left to announce. The Cards fans naturally cheered for the 4 thinking the team was coming out and the players danced their way to the sideline .........Classless, on another teams Senior Day activities......

Malik Zaire is catching some flack for his hold on the last FG. When he was a sophomore in high school at Alter he was the backup QB. Starting QB was Zane Pitzer. Hes, Zane is Cam's cousin.

Great experience. Class fans. Enjoyed the game regardless of the outcome - but enjoyed the win immensely.

 

Still lots of room for improvement. False starts were maddening. Missed FG was frustrating (but ND K took the UofL kicker off the hook.)

 

Lots of people forget that even if ND made the FG, UofL had time for a final drive and OT to potentially win the game.

 

Defense holding ND to 2 FGs and the offense scoring 2 TDs on the 1st 2 drives gave UofL the start they really needed to withstand their usual 2nd half woes and ND's strong 2nd half start.

I was there too. The incident that you are talking about, wasn't so much of an incident. They have to send four players out early for the coin toss. The players were out there with about 2:30 left on the clock. It's standard. As for the fans cheering, that's just an excuse.

I had heard broken wrist, not ribs.

 

I certainly hope that the hand is true and not the ribs if he's hurt at all.

 

The miss was a rarity. Wallace has been a real asset the last couple seasons.
