April 14, 201511 yr Author Equally sad and excited for tonight. Same here. Sometimes a story drives a show, which happened some with Justified. But the characters make this show great...even the minor ones.

April 15, 201511 yr Well done. It wasn't always the best show on --- season 2 being a definite exception ---but it was certainly the most fun. Really going to miss tuning in. Overall, perfect adaptation of Elmore Leonard.
April 15, 201511 yr I can't wait for the spin-off or movie! They certainly left it wide open with everyone of importance to the story line still being alive. I was expecting a main characters death but in the end I'm glad it ended the way it did. Very good series top to bottom.

April 15, 201511 yr I was very glad they ended with the "dug coal together" bit. Just like the ending of the very first episode.
April 15, 201511 yr A good finale, just not the emotional kicker one that I expected. Would have thought with the playing of "You'll never leave Harlan alive" at the end of a couple of seasons, as well as last night, that Raylan or Boyd or both or Ava or Art would have died. Didn't like Raylan in Boone's hat either. Again, it was a good episode, but seems as though they left things open for a movie or another mini season in the future.
April 16, 201511 yr Raylan wearing Boon's hat was paying homage to Elmore Leonard. Leonard supposedly hated the hat Raylan wore and thought he should have been in more of a Stetson Businessman which is closer to what Boon wore.

I just didn't like Raylan wearing that idiot's hat and besides that thought he looked way better in the other one
