Justified Season 6

Time for guesses as to the disposition of characters.

The easy ones

- Constable Bob - lives, but wounded (he must bleed slowly based on last show.)

- Boon - goner (shoot out with Raylen as referenced above?)

Supporting characters:

- Art - lives.

- Duffy - lives (like the coach roach that still lives after a nuclear war)

- Markum - dies.

Main characters:

- Boyd - dies. (They have making him more and more unlikable with the killing of innocents and his own men. Is he the one can 'never leave Harlan alive?')

- Raylen - lives. (If they want to do a movie you need the main character. He also showed he has no death wish. Just wants to get Florida.)

- Ava - ??? (Who did she call? They have said that is not openly resolved or exposed even in finale. So does she somehow slip away a fugitive - with some help from someone?)

If this is really the end - with no movie or spin off in play then they could all end up in morgue.

If Ava slips off (maybe with some of the money), that would really set up a movie in a few years.

If they are going to make a movie, I just can't imagine Boyd dies. I love Raylens charater but Coggins as Boyd really carries the show and I just couldn't imagine a movie without him.

I wonder if they're considering an aftermath sort of story with Loretta? Could be a way to keep Rachel and Gutterson involved — they're both quite good — as well as leave things open to the occasional special guest return by Raylan. Especially if Ava emerges from this alive and with some of the money. She and Loretta would make an interesting partnership.

I'd love a Loretta Spin Off! At some point Dicky Bennett could get out of prison and come looking for revenge. Bob could be a reoccurring character...it would have the chance to be really really good.

Let's make this happen. Somebody get the President of Television on the line.

:thumb: Or go over his head to some program director at Netflix!

Agree on all. But they have dirtyed him up with his last two kills - one in public place of his own guy and one of an innocent. If he is still alive he will have be on the run for a long time for a movie or breaks out of prison for the movie because if he goes to jail they will throw away the key.

I also figure one of the three main characters has to die to make the 'you'll never leave Harlan alive' theme play out. Of course, maybe its Raylen that goes down since, like you say, Coggins as Boyd is such a strong character he could carry a movie - maybe without Raylen on his tail.

BTW, though Ava has the backpack - where did the rest of the money go? Did I miss its current resting place?

Duffy seems to have a bead on it. But he was not talking Ava on the phone, then who has it or knows where it is?

Stackhouse clan?

She's got to get her some better bodyguards if that is the case!

I believe you are on to something here.

I wonder if Boyd is somewhat redeemed in the finale, possibly by saving Raylen from getting killed by Boon.

Is it possible they both die, in a mine, going after the money? It would kind of come full circle to where Boyd and Raylen started from.
