He could have had six of them at 8 AM at my house because they were laying in my yard, eating my hosta and standing in the street. I'm surprised one of them wasn't reading my newspaper they were standing over. They should have an opening day for a urban hunt and come into the city and purge them before cars run into them eventually.

Congrats to mr Wildcat

My oldest son's buck, shame he was weak on his left.

Very nice buck.

Saw 5 decent to nice bucks. None that just immediately jumped out as shooters but if all make it through the season next year is looking very promising. Buddy I hunt with saw 3 more on the other side of same farm.

Saw pics on facebook of this absolute giant killed in Henderson. Guy that killed it said in comments he rough scored it at 200 gross.

If he wants to deliver some jerky to PC, I wouldn't be mad at him!

On our farm, luck was definitely a lady. My wife brought down a decent 5 point, and my brother's wife got an 8. None of us guys did any good.

Chicks rule! That's awesome!

On of the guys I hunt with shot 3 does last night. Right before dark he said a nice buck came out in the field about 4 yards from him. He said he put the cross hairs on him, pulled the trigger and nothing. He forgot to rack another shell in the chamber after shooting the 3rd doe.

Thats a serious deer. Beautiful.

I had a pretty decent 8 point and a small forkhorn walk past me and a few does. It was a good day. I can remember not too long ago that even the sight of a deer, any deer, in Pike County was a rarity. The success of the Whitetail Deer in KY over the last 20 years and the job the KDFWR has done in managing them is a great story.

I like this pic I took of that 8 point. We had an understanding, I let him walk and he promised to grow up a lot by next year. LOL

Congrats to Mr. Lawildcat. Really good buck and nothing like fresh backstraps on the grill.

dd734, that is a nice deer. I like the oddities and even though it would have been incredible if the left side was like the right, I think it is beautiful like it is.

Absolutely love seeing the ladies out there and taking trophies. Nice.

And woodsrider, dang... beautiful deer right there.

And that deer of course was "staged" in the cut grass by the pampas grass. Because Mr. Lawildcat would not be in camo and harvest off the porch? :lol2:

Nice deer and congratulations...:)
