November 7, 201411 yr Scrooge The Grinch withe Jim Carey A Christmas Carole That is all. Not a big fan of most. Jim Carey was brilliant as the Grinch. And it's probably my fave as well.
November 7, 201411 yr No Christmas Carol starring George C Scott??? They only asked for 5. :idunno: George C. Scott's version was very good, Disney's Christmas Carol with Jim Carey was very good as well. About the only version I've seen that I didn't really care for was the Made for TV musical with Kelsey Grammer.

About the only version I've seen that I didn't really care for was the Made for TV musical with Kelsey Grammer. The anachronisms really bug me in the George C. Scott version. It rightly takes place in the middle of the 19th century, just as Dickens' story did, but there are all these moments of weird 80s style, most specifically in the Ghost of Christmas Past with her weird teased-out hair.
