November 3, 201411 yr Not that much....I wouldn't think. That theater only seated 1500. I read that around 300,000 saw him in the 5 years he was in Vegas. Tickets were $140 at first then Wynn raised them to $240...I don't know what the split between them was. He made some big Bank out there but my point was that he left a ton on the table by just part timing it out there. If you watched the finale from there, they interviewed Steve Wynn (I'll try and find it). He specifically said that if the P&L was just ticket revenue vs what he paid Garth, he lost his shirt, however, when factoring in room nights and money lost per person at the casino, it was a great investment. I'll try and dig it up....

November 3, 201411 yr ...... Apparently the theatre seated 1,845, and tickets were selling for $225 per. So the Wynn was bringing in a little over $400,000 for each show in just ticket revenue.
November 3, 201411 yr Author Back to my original point, he gave up a lot of money over the last 10 years while staying home. Edited November 3, 201411 yr by Jumper_Dad

November 3, 201411 yr Back to my original point, he gave up a lot of money over the last 10 years while staying home. We can speculate how much he made up over the past few years performing 40 or so dates a year in Vegas. I'd see the point more if he simply stayed home and didn't perform.
November 3, 201411 yr Author I'd see the point more if he simply stayed home and didn't perform. What point? I didn't say he didn't work but you would have to admit that touring every other year or so plus putting out new albums would have made him much much more that 40 or so high paying Vegas gigs a year for 3 years did. From 2000-2009 about the only performances he did were charity fundraisers. He didn't do Vegas until 2009 to 2012.
November 3, 201411 yr Author Vegas deal was worth $100M plus Jet 2009-2012 then added a few dates later to that deal.
November 3, 201411 yr I made the same comment... How much money/net worth did he forgo by deciding to stay home for the last 10 years. Was at the early show Saturday. It was awesome. He definitely brings energy. I am sure he did lip sing some. No way he would have a voice for the 4th show in 24 hours if he didn't.
November 3, 201411 yr I saw an interview with him some years ago, during his "hey-day", and Brooks stated he had more money than his grandchildren's grandchlidren could spend. Of course I believe that was before his divorce.
November 3, 201411 yr Both of my sisters went. Saw Jim Schue stage diving. You mistook his suicide attempt. :sssh: Couldn't talk him into letting me handle lead vocals for "Hard Luck Woman," so I bailed.
November 3, 201411 yr Turned down seats. I'm not a big country fan but he is one of the few I do enjoy.
