They've played a nice schedule. They've lost to some very good teams but all close, high scoring games. Where would Dixie/Lafayette be played since they are both even district teams/#1 seeds?

 

Lafayette will play SK in the 2nd round. Then SK/Dixie at Dixie.

Lafayette is in the same mold as Scott County. A program known to give SK fits. I'm not saying SK cannot win, all I'm saying is don't look past The Generals to the Colonels or you could be embarrased.

5th seed gets sent to the other side usually against Trinity. Against Scott County this year.

 

All teams make the playoffs in 6A no matter what. They were 5th place in their district but will play in as the 4 seed in another district that has only 3 teams.

It's easier predicting March Madness.

Good Luck to Boone County, Dixie Heights, Campbell County, Simon Kenton and Ryle. In one way or another, I have a connection with each of these teams. Hope one of you can bring a 6A State Championship to Northern Kentucky.

It is unbelievable how easy the bottom bracket is. The tough bracket is unbelievably difficult. Good luk to everyone!

 

I believe KHSAA has to find a better way. There will be a lot of good teams in the top bracket lose and not continue on because of the difficult pairings. Mean while sub par teams in the bottom bracket continue.

Don't sleep on Lafayette. Very good team with lots of athletes. Tall, fast receivers, athletic DLine.

 

Even though athletic, Lafayette can't handle other teams that are athletic as well. Lost to an athletic Henry Clay and Bryan Station. And those receivers are not 6'3, perhaps only/ maybe one ( Jackson )

I think they will have their hands full as well. I think they'll pull out a close victory. The 6A playoffs are ridiculous this year. I just think Lafayette may be a little more seasoned than SK. No disrespect intended. It's not going to be easy for any of the top teams in 6A to advance once we get to next week. Some have their hands full this week.

SK is to well balanced on offense and their defense is physical.
