October 29, 201411 yr Author NOW that the season is over? It was over before they were 0-1 or Randall was injured. No argument there but in order for it to officially be over they have to start the season. Now that it has started and we have seen the official product we can now declare the season over. Losing Randle sealed it even more for the most diehard Laker fans. It's all about Kobe now.

I normally hate what everyone likes and the MJ love drove me bat crap crazy back in the day. MJ NEVER did anything wrong and it took his HOF speech for the media to quit coddling him. Can't stand him. Never have. Never will. Yes I like his shoes and buy a new pair of Jordan sandals every year.
October 30, 201411 yr Won't Jordan still dominate him in terms of per game scoring? I'll grant you, the longevity of Kobe will be impressive, but it still won't be quite as good. I think most acknowledge that if Jordan hadn't had the gaps he'd be the all-time leader in NBA scoring.

He may have finished second overall but he wouldn't have caught Kareem.
