October 30, 201411 yr My wife and I binged on a few seasons of Scandal since we kept hearing so much about it. It's become a "date" to watch this together. If not for that I'd probably drop it. Same with Get Away With Murder. Getting close to dropping that one if it weren't for my wife. I quit "The Bridge." Just too odd to keep me interested in season 2. I quit watching "Graceland" this season as well. Too many good options with limited time.
November 1, 201411 yr Way too many to count. Shameless is probably the one that I really like, but no longer watch.Very under appreciated show. Emmy Rossum is amazing.
November 1, 201411 yr Last year I started watching "About a Boy" because I really dug the movie from 10 or so years ago. Thought that the show was a winner, but as the season progressed it already started appearing to be a bit tired. Caught the 1st episode this season and it wasn't too bad, but haven't yet seen the second. I hope they prove me wrong and can keep writing it to keep it alive. It has its potential, but I can also see where it may end up difficult to keep it from getting old.Did the same. Love Nick Hornby books, LOVED Minnie Driver in Good Will Hunting, and I'm even a big fan of Brett Dennen who does the title music. Just couldn't stay interested.
November 1, 201411 yr I haven't watched the last two seasons of Boardwalk Empire but do plan to finish it.
November 2, 201411 yr It took me two seasons to realize that show just wasn't any good. Watching old episodes occasionally on TV now, I realize that it never was. Same thing here.
December 9, 201411 yr Author Mike and Molly-I watched all of the first season and some of the 2nd. I believe they are on season three now. I actually forgot this one was still on.
December 9, 201411 yr Criminal Minds - Rossi is one of the worst characters on TV. Watching the old ones on Netflix now further confirmed this for me. Gideon was much better.
December 9, 201411 yr The Newsroom Liked Season 1. Didn't like Season 2. Haven't watched Season 3. Same. Season 1 was not great but it was just decent enough to get me back for season 2. I couldn't finish season 2.
December 9, 201411 yr Family Guy is the only current one I can think of. This one for me too. I still do catch it every now and then, but don't go out of my way to watch it. Some of my others-- "The Simpsons"--it was must see for me for about 10 years, an occasional watch for another 5, and now I never watch it. "Sportscenter"--Used to watch it multiple times every day. Now, I get all my sports news online "American Idol", "The Voice", "Dancing With the Stars"---Aside from Survivor, I've given up on reality tv.
April 17, 201511 yr Law and Order: SVU: When Christopher Melloni left it started downhill. Became unwatchable last season. Deleted from my DVR season passes. Deadliest Catch: At first it was great when it concentrated on the actual fishing. The last few seasons it's become almost like pro wrestling with seemingly staged story lines (Sig's daughter on the boat for example). Still on my DVR season pass list but I'm not sure for how long. Mythbusters: In much the same way getting rid of Paige Davis killed Trading Spaces I'm afraid getting rid of Grant, Tori and Kari may have killed this show. Last season was so-so at best.
April 17, 201511 yr I thought the first season of Under The Dome was pretty solid until the finale. The second season was a train wreck from start to finish. Third season is coming up, but I'm not watching it.
April 18, 201511 yr The Simpsons Grey's Anatomy... I know it's kind of a girl's show, but I was watching with a friend and the episode that was on was one of the biggest episodes of it and then we watched a couple after it. I ended up watching the first few seasons. Now though, there's just so many episodes I don't want to get started watching again because it'd take so long to finish. Weeds Really jumped the shark late.
