Is Warren Central a trap game for Highlands?

Featured Replies

This one could be really tough for the Birds.

Do you think Warren Central is a trap game for Highlands?

Doubtful with the Feggins factor. Regardless WC can beat HHS whether or not HHS is thinking of the past or looking to the future. They'll have to be at their best.

Warren Central is too beat up to beat Highlands. Even if they weren't they don't possess the attention to detail on offense that last years staff and team did.

Birds roll in this one by at least 3 tds.

Good luck Warren Central!

Iam4thecats, can you give us a rundown of WC? Who is beat up for them? HHS is beat up too after last night, losing one of their leaders on defense (Abner), a top RB (Watson) and maybe another RB (Kendall)...not sure of any other injuries after last night...

I would not call it a trap game necessarily. I do think it may be a tough game because (1) HHS is beat up after last night, (2) road game with about a 4hr trip and (3) WC is a good team.

It appears after the BG game that WC may have lost Shanklin (their top target after Feggins) and their best CB.

I expect a lower scoring game this year... 69-63 Highlands.

They lost Shanklin? Isn't he the QB?

No - Highlands doesn't fall into traps. Even if they did, they'd wake up in time to win. If anything, this team is a second half team. So, even if they have a flat 1H, their track record this season says they'd come out smokin' in 2H.

They lost Murray, the #2 receiver. Definitely hurts them.

Not sure who we're talking about on the DB.

Walker?

I know he had cramping issues in the BG game but if he's injured worse than that, I'm not aware of it. He didn't play against Logan, but the starters really only played a quarter anyway - not even really a full one. My assumption is they probably just held him out since there was no reason to risk it but I might be wrong.

I meant to say Murray. My apologies, Shanklin played very well against BG and was not hurt.
