October 15, 201411 yr I thought I would see how everyone else would list a top 10. I am listing not necessarily due to records, more of an overall opinion after watching as much college football as I could for the 1st half of the season. NOTE - Is just me but I think that it's too early, too many critical head to head matchups yet to be played ( specially in SEC) for me to list a final four. jmo. Here is my top 10 Right Now. (and I know that most may think I put UGA too high but I honestly believe that they are that good) My TOP 10: 1) Ole Miss (1a) 2) Mississippi State (1b) 3) FSU 4) Baylor 5) Notre Dame 6) Georgia 7) Oregon 8) Auburn (8a) 9) Alabama (8b) 10) Michigan State (not so sure msu shouldn't be higher)
October 17, 201411 yr 1. Ole Miss 2. Baylor 3. Mississippi State 4. Auburn 5. Notre Dame 6. Florida State 7. Alabama 8. Michigan State 9. Georgia 10. Oklahoma 11. TCU After that, it's kind of a drop. Oregon isn't healthy. Oklahoma State could beat anyone on a given night, but I don't know if they're really in the conversation with the rest. Ohio State has a loss, their strength of schedule will hurt, and they're young, but I also see them flying under the radar and getting better each week. Kansas State is kind of in the Oklahoma State school of thought, but not quite as talented. Texas A&M and Stanford have their systems and can beat anyone, but they've also got 2 losses apiece.
October 17, 201411 yr I am not sure of an order, but Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn, and FSU would be my top 4. I am not sold on Baylor, ND, OU, etc. breaking in to that top group.
October 17, 201411 yr I see Baylor on TV quite a bit down here and they have tons of speed. Quick on quick. If they keep Petty healthy, they'll be capable of beating anyone. This year, the field seems pretty wide open. I wouldn't be shocked at all if a 1-loss (or potentially even 2-loss) Baylor team gets into the playoffs and does well. Right now, they are probably the team to beat in the Big 12.
October 18, 201411 yr I like your top 10 Rambler. If anything is different, I'd maybe put Baylor over Florida State. My opinion will be stronger after tonight.
October 18, 201411 yr Baylor is on upset alert as of right now. Was just about to post that. Considering the way their games have went, being down four at the half doesn't mean much though. I figured it would be high scoring with playing West Virginia.

October 19, 201411 yr How do we justify Michigan State in the top 10? Same question for Ohio State? You don't but a lot of teams have 1 loss now. But you can't in the B10. OSU shouldn't be mentioned in the top 10, no way they are hanging around in December, don't even mention their name please.
