How so? Please explain? SK put 496 yards 45 points on the Camels, Dixie put 463 yards and 43 points all rushing. SK ran and passed on them.

 

I haven't seen a Dixie game, so I don't know how long they have left the starters in, but I can tell you at the SK/CC game, I know the last TD came in the middle of the 4th by Powell on a 36 yard run while SK was up 4 and a half TD's. So honestly, I don't put any stock in SK numbers because from my two experiences, they tend to keep their starters in the game and a lot of the yards come once the game is out of reach. Just my opinion based on what I've seen. Like I said before, maybe it's only against CC cause those are the two games I've seen. But they seem to "pad" their stats a little. Not causing problems, just my observation.

I would take Racke over any QB playing high school football and he has the best wide receiver in Kentucky!

 

Okay, back to reality. I did like the Racke kid! he does a nice job of keeping the play alive and keeping his head down field. He made some really nice plays with pressure in the CC game that really kept drives alive when CC had him in trouble. However, to say he's the best at anything right now is a little far-fetched. His time is coming and he's going to be very good in my opinion. Time will tell if he will be as successful without all the weapons he has on this team. Powell and Winkler take a lot of pressure off him and I think I heard where a lot of O lineman are graduating. All those things can change a lot for him. I know your going to tell me they have D1 backups ready to step in...and honestly, I hope they do because I do think he can be really good!

Shhhhhhh you know Ukfan loves to tell you SK only keeps their starters in until halftime. Just go back and read how many times he has claimed that to be true.

I know I'm old (and so are you!), but I don't think I missed that. And I said, maybe they only do it against CC, I don't know. But I saw the same thing last year in the CC game. Just telling what I saw and asking the CC fans (many of them) if they felt the same way and they say they do. Not saying anything that isn't true or exaggerating. Just my and several CC fans (and apparently Raiderbird who was there) feel. Doesn't mean they are right or wrong. But that is my perception of how they get so many good stats, based on what I've seen. I just wouldn't trust their stats as being completely true. And again, just my opinion and I would say the same thing about any school that had starters in that late in the game up that much when the game was clearly over. People want people to come out and see SK play and we did. I saw a lot of things I liked, but I also saw things that showed me where they stand.

SK's skill players are better, but Dixie's OLine and DLine are incredibly impressive. I still don't understand that CovCath score. If SK doesn't get off blocks and looks as slow on D as they did against Ryle, this could be a 2 TD win for the Dixie. I still like SK's offense over Dixie. As long as their lines slow Dixie's I see it as 31-24 SK.

After that score SK pulled the starters. The only games SK has played the starters the entire time was against Collins, Ryle and Boone.
