I rarely ever make predictions but I will go out on a limb and say SK 35 Dixie 27...and I never do the poll thingy but here it goes

Coming from an SK fan, I agree. No offense to some of the teams that they have scheduled in the past and even on this years schedule, but they don't need to be on there. If you are truly trying to earn the respect not just of NKY but of the state, then you need to play the big boys in the regular season. Not just hope that you see them in the playoffs. Playing the top tier schools year in and year out is only going to be beneficial in the long run.

 

Holy cow! How refreshing are you to have on the board and understand what is being said. You may be SK's saving grace for some of the posters on BGP. You get it! Maybe I can come out of the closet and openly root for the pioneers now!

I'm trying to make it out too. Need to do some kid logistic management, but hopefully can make it. And it's at Dixie, so not as far of a drive for me!!!

If you are an SK grad, you'd know how bad this program was, and how far it's come in the last 6-8 years. No one goes from being horrible to state champs in 6A without reaching milestones along the way. You can't be a flash in the pan like some smaller class teams with less competition and much smaller enrollment. It's a process. Let it play out. It's working. If it wasn't the guys at 'certain' schools wouldn't always be complaining about SK. They hear footsteps.....:up:

I'll root for HHS first and foremost! But there is room for two teams in my heart! Wouldn't you love to have me on your side against the Louisville teams when you make it to that level???
