Who do you have this week SK or Dixie?

 

All kidding aside...this is a tough call in my opinion. I think SK wins a close one. Because I have no skin in the game, I hope its a great game. And I can see a great game without biting all my nails off!

Oh we know we wouldn't hear the end of it. But we already have plenty of excuses logged. We've been taking notes from the SK fans for years!

 

What will be comical is the mighty 6A team gloating about beating a team 2 division lower. That would sum up SK perfectly!!!

 

Anyway, this is all moot because beating HHS (even next year) will be a chore for any NKY team. Just because they may be down, you need to ask yourself...what does that mean in regards to NKY football? Down? Okay, but it doesn't mean we aren't still pretty darn good! After what I've seen so far and the way HHS develops their players at the varsity level and knowing that SK loses some key players next year, I don't think HHS is circling this one on their schedule. But I can guarantee you SK is!

 

SK will be loaded with good players next year.

I think this is one of the better games of the year in these parts, maybe the best with the dud that we had in Ft. Thomas a couple of weeks ago, and I think Simon Kenton wins a VERY hard fought game.

 

Should be well worth the price of admission, and I hope it spring-boards both teams to a successful post-season run as well.

Is it SK's fault the teams they play are having bad seasons? So what will everybody say after SK beats Dixie? More lame excuses? SK is for real. Ryle game was Ryle's homecoming they where jacked. I was told that SK players thought they would have a easy one. They still managed to get the win. SK tonight had to face a down pour that helped Boone a lot. (as if Boone didn't play in the same weather) SK only passed 9 times they usually pass 20 times. When it is all said and done SK finds a way to win! Before the season started everybody said SK would have a down year and be an average team. Guess what SK is 8-0! Next Friday around 9 pm SK will be 9-0!!!

 

Boone played good. SK couldn't run their normal offense though in the rain. (but Boone could?)SK usually passes the ball at least 20 times a game. The game conditions fit Boone well. I like said before both teams did a great job not fumbling the ball. I thought for sure their would be a bunch of fumbles tonight.

 

I don't think so. SK runs the spread and passes alot. Racke was having trouble in warms holding on to the ball in the down pour. (again, lucky for Boone they didn't have to play with a wet ball)SK had to stick with the run.

 

SK is not good in a down pour. (good thing Boone is) SK could never open up their offense.

The usual season ender won't be much of a game this year in Ft. Mitchell, so this one definitely shapes up to take the cake.

That's because you and UK can't get the Birds out of your head. The very first post after this thread was put up, had you mentioning Highlands.

 

Now that Highlands has dispatched CovCath, this is the biggest game in NKY this season. Hope it meets our expectations (and the Pioneers win).
