Advantage doesn't have to mean "never lose" but.... I don't see it.

I think there is definitely a home field advantage for Highlands. It is just tight and the visitor sideline conditions are not good (not that there is anything the school can do about). Not sure it translates to wins, but it doesn't hurt. I remember the coach from East Jessamine seemed to get a bit consumed with the sideline situation a few years ago.

Plus having two homefields isn't too shabby. 1 in Ft Thomas and the other in Park Hills

Seems like the 200k just received from Bengals/NFL should be able to take care of this "dark" problem.

I always thought Fort Campbell did. You drive past armed guards after having to show ID, vehicle registration, and insurance. They sometimes require you to stop, stand in line at a building and get a pass.

 

Then you drive past tanks, barracks, and tanks to get to the stadium where sometimes a soldier parachutes from a helicopter with the game ball

 

That all can be rather intimidating and the first part definitely keeps the visiting crowd size down

We only played cov Cath on Saturday one time during my high school years. But looking back to all the Saturday day games we played, we always played horrid. The other two games we played on Friday night were a win in '08 and the 3 point loss in '10 most of the games haven't been close since then
