Yep, and that's how all teams should view a season. None of those teams have the ULTIMATE GOAL of an undefeated regular season, they strive to win the LAST game of the season. They all feel that scheduling UP helps them reach that goal. If you like hoisting district or regional banners, the odds of grabbing the golden ring go way down.

 

As I've said in other threads, a title that does not go through the super district or BG is meaningless.

After talking with Campbell's D-Coord last night, everyone is going to find out Friday night. They have some things that they feel confident about that they can do Defensively against SK.

Looking forward to sharing my two cents after the Campbell County & Dixie Heights games. Iron sharpens iron and these two teams have done a lot more to warrant my attention than what sk has done to this point. SK has the target on their backs. The Camels and Colonels will take aim and we'll see how they reach the target.

 

I like their ( CC & Dixies ) odds based on what I saw in sk at the Cooper game and from the Ryle faithful I spoke to last week. And know I'll be one of the first to congratulate the neers if they beat both Campbell County & Dixie Heights......IF that were to occur!

 

 

The next two weeks are pivotal for 6A in NKY. Going to be a great time watching how it all plays out!!!

Do we know how good SK is? Not yet but the same can be said for a whole lot of teams. Just in NKY off the top of my head would be SK, Dixie, CCHS, CCH, Beechwood, NCC, HHS, Cooper. Shoot, I'll throw in Conner, Ryle and Scott. Lot's of mixed signals this year.

And if you pull out Cooper's 4-2 (they have played basically the same cupcake schedule as SK) it's an even worse, 6-20 for the opposition.

 

SK might be the best team in the universe and beyond, but to this point in the season, given their schedule, there is no way to answer this question.
