theguru Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Do they have a signature win? Will they win the NKY district? Here is a link to their results: Scoreboard
Fishhead Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Ask me on Saturday morning. Things should be a lot clearer then.
theguru Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Ask me on Saturday morning. Things should be a lot clearer then. What is the fun in that? Seriously, what do you think?
Hellbird Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 You ask this a week ago I say they are legit. The way they played against Cooper, albeit Cooper was plagued with injuries that week, SK looked like the best team I've seen in NKY in some time. Then they go and lay an egg last week so I don't know what to make of this SK team.
bballguy Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 SK (and Ryle) have the best depth in the district. SK has the best passing game and diversity of offense in the district. How good they are or can be will be determined by how fast the sophomore QB grows up. The Ryle game was his "deer in the headlights" game. Despite how the game ended, he really did not make his reads well in this game. This resulted in the first three series going 3 and out. And yes, a stiffer pre district test should have made this game come sooner. SK has too much depth for Dixie and too much diversity of offense and size on both sides of the los for Campbell. The team speed is the best in the last five years, but still not close to Male or Scott Co or even McCracken.
RCC9 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 What is the fun in that? Seriously, what do you think? Are you trying to get me in trouble or beat up?? I am going to the game tomorrow!! You are begging for me to answer. Can't I just copy and paste all my comments from the other threads in here. Do you know anyone that could do that for me???

Mattitude Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 With that murderers' row schedule? What we know about SK is that they can really take it to 6 teams with a combined 10-22 record.
Fishhead Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I think the possibility is there for a good mid-pack 6A team, but I think the same about Campbell County and Dixie. I think SK will be an early out come playoff time due to the patsy schedule. Like I said, it will be a lot clearer on Saturday morning.
All Tell Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 SK will likely run their "brutal" regular season schedule. With the way 6A is set up this year they could even make it to the Bowling Green. Then the survivor of the real side of the bracket will end their delusion and they will end their season 14-1 with a lopsided loss.

Only someone from T, BG or HHS would view a season with that description a failure!
Colonel Don Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Only someone from T, BG or HHS would view a season with that description a failure! Yep, and that's how all teams should view a season. None of those teams have the ULTIMATE GOAL of an undefeated regular season, they strive to win the LAST game of the season. They all feel that scheduling UP helps them reach that goal. If you like hoisting district or regional banners, the odds of grabbing the golden ring go way down.
All Tell Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Only someone from T, BG or HHS would view a season with that description a failure! Didn't say it was a failure but it would indicate that SK is still not on the level of the 6A elite.
