According to the NKY coaches poll, SK must be pretty good. I think they were ranked second this week, even after an abysmal performance at Ryle and that soft schedule you guys want to complain about.

Who is bashing? I have no idea who gave SK the first place vote but it doesn't matter which one it was. I said it was delusional, probably too stong of a word, because I can't believe ANY NoKY coach believes SK would beat Highlands at this point of the year. I don't say that as a Highlands fan, I say that based on both teams performances and having seen both teams in action.

Here we go again! Divert to a different topic. You guys always bring up HHS. Hilarious. I guess time will tell with how much separation there is between 1 and 2. You could be completely correct. It might be nice to spend Thanksgiving with the family anyway. It's been awhile!

Forgot this...you want to talk about bashing. You just bashed yourself. If you want to talk about how bad HHS is, well SK is still ranked behind them. So what's that say???? Lets go with HHS is terrible. Now we can get down to the topic of the thread. SK is ranked 2 behind a terrible team. Still makes our point against SK.

 

Also, I think most BGPer's understand the distance between 1 and 2 this year. If you don't believe me, go over the the HHS threads and check out all the Non-HHS posters over there. You'd like it, check it out.

Here's what has happened...the SK fans have let their emotions overtake reality. They are all very passionate and thats a good thing. But the first criticism, challenge or any feedback they get and they get overly defensive, start attacking other programs and want to take their ball and go home. That all escalates into this! I posted something awhile back about ALL of 6A in NKY being mediocre. The ONLY fans to attack that was SK fans. Others outside of all those schools chimed in, but the other schools fans are in touch with reality. They know they are on the way up and improving every year and there is excitement in their programs. It is what it is. But for some reason, SK fans (and not just UKfan) want everyone to think and know how good SK is...so much that it makes them mad when they get any challenge to their arguments. Has recent history shown they may be the better 6A team in NKY the last couple years...yes, they have proven that. But that only means...they are the best NKY 6A team. That doesn't make them a good team. The jury is still out and we'll know once they beat a team that is above average.

If SK is the program everyone loves to hate, then lets live up to the label!
