The fact is that Cov Cath and HHS are on SK's schedule in the next cycle and this has been elaborated ad nauseum by multiple posters from our community. All of the SK criticism comes from fan bases that have NO CLUE on how to build a program from the ground up.

The fact is that Cov Cath and HHS are on SK's schedule in the next cycle and this has been elaborated ad nauseum by multiple posters from our community. All of the SK criticism comes from fan bases that have NO CLUE on how to build a program from the ground up.

 

Ground up? How long has SK been a school? How long has Marksberry been there? How long have they been scheduling "confidence building" schedules. The Pioneers have 8 out of the last 10 years of winning seasons (and that only as far as I went back). They have like 4 or the last 6 with double digit wins. They now have a community that supports them. So why do they still need "confidence building" schedules?

 

Misinterpretations. I don't hate SK, I secretly root for them in the playoffs (don't tell anyone), I continuously talk good about them off this board (many BGPers can attest to that), and I have wished them good luck and congratulated them on wins. The problem is that a select few have lost touch with reality and cannot stand to be challenged when they boast about their team. That's it! Period!

Please show me one time when I have been in a SK thread and I was the first one to bring up HHS. Just once and I'll believe you. Just once. You guys get so mad so easy.

 

BTW...none of those other schools after the "no offense to" ever would take offense because they are closer to reality.

It's been said so many times I'm tired of saying it but I will- SK IS NOT Trinity. We are not St. X. We are not Male. We are not Scott County. We are not Colerain, Moeller, Cincy St. X or even Cleveland St. I. We are a program working hard to be like those schools. We are taking the right steps to be mentioned as an elite program in the FUTURE.

and......according to the coaches poll, we're the #2 program in NKY. About where we were most of last year. That indicates a program on the rise. Correct?

I'll answer for me. I said months ago that I won't know anything about this team until they play Cooper and Campbell. Injuries at Cooper didn't provide a clear picture. I'll know all I need to know about this team late Friday. Good enough?

Maybe...I guess it depends on the rest of the teams. If you were number 2 last year and number 2 again this year, there was no rise. Sounds like it's the same. Or possibly decline of others. Each poll is different based on the teams that make it up.

Simon Kenton is legit they came into the Ryle game to cocky thinking they was playing Holy Cross that won't happen again. They will put it on the Camels and Dixie you can take that to the bank. Deaton got a letter from Louisville Cardinals today. Dillon Powell got 3 letters from Purdue and a couple from UC.

It tells me that Ryle was an aberration and this team has what it takes to win this district.

OK. I see. Trying to drive a wedge between the SK faithful, huh? lol. I'm glad both guys got letters. They both have much to prove.
