Really??? So you are telling all the kids of past champs at Beechwood, NCC, Mayfield, Central, Desales, etc that all their hard work and dedication was meaningless. You SK fans never cease to amaze me with your degrading of other programs. And you wonder why EVERYONE roots against you!

 

BTW - HHS is 1-1 against T.

Do we know how good SK is? Not yet but the same can be said for a whole lot of teams. Just in NKY off the top of my head would be SK, Dixie, CCHS, CCH, Beechwood, NCC, HHS, Cooper. Shoot, I'll throw in Conner, Ryle and Scott. Lot's of mixed signals this year.

 

Not completely sold here. I think we do know more than you're leading on to. We are more than half way through the season!!! By now, I think we are able to form some pretty good opinions.

 

HHS - Not sure what else we need to know. The only thing that we don't know here, are how good are the two teams in the western part of the state. HHS seems to be pretty good.

 

NCC - Not able to beat the big teams, but will be NCC in 2A and most likely make a run.

 

Cooper - Sorry Hellbird, but we probably know they are an average 5A team. Struggled through some injuries, but not expected to make a run.

 

Ryle - is on the way back. (IMO). Learning how to play and getting better.

 

Scott - Not as good as last year and not going to make a run in 5A.

 

SK, Dixie, Camp Co - I agree here. No idea what will come from these matchups. The only thing we know is they will most likely be good games and they will have to get an awful good draw (like last year) and have a little luck to make any kind of run.

That was last year. Thought SK fans didn't like to talk about the past. And even if they were good last year, they are a 4A team and would make that one good opponent in two years!!! Keep hanging your hat on the first game of the season...LAST YEAR!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's all you can come back with!

And if you pull out Cooper's 4-2 (they have played basically the same cupcake schedule as SK) it's an even worse, 6-20 for the opposition.

 

SK might be the best team in the universe and beyond, but to this point in the season, given their schedule, there is no way to answer this question.

What you and a few others don't seem to understand is there are a bunch of knowledgable high school football fans here giving an honest assessment of SK. Obviously, SK has made great strides since the days of being everyones homecoming patsy, but they haven't reached the level of the greatest thing since the invention of the wheel. Plus, running down the accomplishments of teams below your vaunted 6A, does not win you points here or in BGR. Like I said, if 6A is all that and a bag of chips, why schedule 1A and 2A teams? For that matter, why even bother with 5A opponents?

I think NCC may be the only team to win a state title from NKY this year.....and their record isn't very good at the moment.

And BTW...if you don't think the same challenges will eventually come from the posters on the other boards, well I don't know what to tell you. First, we don't see CC on here pounding their chest constantly telling us how good they are. They are as good of a program as SK and they don't seem to have to tell us about it!

All the haters are saying SK is big, slow, soft, average team and cupcake schedule. The Camels picked a bad week to play SK. SK is going to get the worst beating they ever had!
