Danville has had a stable of backs over the years That had they had the carries that Harris has their stats would have been unbelievable, they didn't get the number of attempts because Duffy and Harp always ran by committee.

Looking at the records it looks like Jeremy Britt didn't have to share the rock. Neither did Kelvin Turner but I think you are referencing guys like Jimmy Baughman, Chester Ford, DayDay Walker, etc. if I am not mistaken.

Yes the old Danville backs before Britt, Guys like Ben Kinley,Kente Bess, Donnie Redd,Chris Jones,and Kelvin Kinley the list goes on and on I'm sure Hatz could remember a few more of them the guys I'm talking about are from Danville's glory years.believe me being a Boyle co fan I saw more than I wanted to of them it seemed like every year they would have 5 or 6 backs that would have world class speed and could take it to the house every time they touched the ball and could do it against any defense thay played but it seemed like none of them would get over 8 or 10 carries a game because they ran by committee. Danville had a time span of these backs that probably lasted for 25 or 30 years. In thier glory years I would have matched Danville talent and speed against any team in the state, believe me I had tons of respect for those teams.

I would have to Justin Frisk in the conversation...He did his damage playing just 30 qtrs in a 15 game season twice and played on a team that scored the most points in America one of those two yrs plus did it against some tough competition imo...:thumb:
