October 6, 201411 yr Oh....lets have fun with this.... July 31st, 2014 - Executive order 13295 Executive Order -- Revised List of Quarantinable Communicable Diseases | The White House CDC - SARS - Executive Order 13295 - Revised List Of Quarantinable Communicable Diseases Originally developed during the SARS epidemic. Here is old wording. (b) Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which is a disease associated with fever and signs and symptoms of pneumonia or other respiratory illness, is transmitted from person to person predominantly by the aerosolized or droplet route, and, if spread in the population, would have severe public health consequences. Here is revised (as of July 31st) wording: (b) Severe acute respiratory syndromes, which are diseases that are associated with fever and signs and symptoms of pneumonia or other respiratory illness, are capable of being transmitted from person to person, and that either are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic, or, upon infection, are highly likely to cause mortality or serious morbidity if not properly controlled. This subsection does not apply to influenza.
October 6, 201411 yr Lots of people dying from SARS these days. Any Swine Flu info you want to share? I'm terrified by that, too.
October 6, 201411 yr SARS, Swine Flu and a few others that have popped up were relatively unknown...hence no panic. Ebola has been talked about for decades and by in large we've been told that it is the perfect killing machine for at least 20 years. If Mad Cow makes it to the US in a widespread amount people would be freaking out about it too, because we've heard about it for years also.

October 6, 201411 yr I never remember hearing about Ebola until this recent uproar... It's been on the world scene for years and years, the movie Outbreak was based on an Ebola Type Virus. Over 400+ deaths from an outbreak in the 70's put it out there in the mainstream.

Swine flu caused pork prices to plummet for an entire year. People like Mt. Ref went into hysterics over that and SARS and Mad Cow.
October 6, 201411 yr This could not have happened in a more conspiracy believing state than Texas. It exponentially increases the panic and unreasonableness.

That's old news, I already called that in a previous post. No FEMA Camp for me, I already have so many MREs and stuff, plus a place to hide in mnts. I have begun prepping.
