September 8, 201412 yr Two things: 1. Different logo at midcourt than previous. Only the bird's head now, instead of the bird's head and LOUISVILLE 2. Three stripes in opposite corners, out of bounds, no doubt a nod to the folks at Adidas, right?

September 8, 201412 yr The midcourt logo is completely different, I wouldn't call that insignificant. That's subjective. It's not something that I'll lose any sleep over. I'm sure the ball will bounce the same way on this court with the newer logo as it did with the other logo. I suppose it gave some people jobs and pay to change it, so that's something, huh?

Truly I have no real personal concern in the matter, but if the fans that it matters to like the change, and there are many fans that wanted the change, then who am I to object to that? It was just a knee-jerk reaction from me when I saw a cardinal get changed to a cardinal and wondered "what for"?
September 9, 201412 yr Pretty cool... If I'm playing zone, I'd rather be defending the right end of the court than the left. Maybe they should have consulted wth someone at the Speed engineering school beforehand.
September 9, 201412 yr They should show a time lapse video of a stack of money in the millions slowly shrinking as the amount of money the Yum Center continues to lose on a daily basis.
