Bw will massacre poor HC

I really hope BW coaches use this game to work on what works instead of what they want to work like last year.....just sayin

 

I think forcing a scheme that isn't working is what caused some slow starts this year.

It was brought up from the very first post. BW didn't win a championship the year that was previously mentioned and yet BW fans wants to degrade HC for doing so because they beat them very early in the year. Its not how you start, but how you finish the year. Why does history matter so much to some? Not sure. If you are going to compare how these teams have matched up historically, it is usually close for the first half. It is a true point Frank, any point of contention there? Why don't we just go by the year at hand, since it sounds like that is what you would like to do as well. HC is not good this year. BW may be down by their standards, but they will have no problem winning this game. Any disagreement Frank? Now, since you tried to be funny, go troll a Lloyd post and be funny there

HC has really good chance this game if the can run the ball. HC lost a winnable game to Holmes because they played short handed and injured. They got crushed by SK playing even more short handed. BW has played and lost 2 games so therefore both these team are bad this year. Why give BW credit that they have not earned this year?

So it is okay to mention past history when it applies to the first half of the previous games played between these two (and I agree with you HC fades in the second half) but they can't mention that the past history year HC won the state title that Beechwood still won the game that year (that is a fact too)?

 

Since you want me to concentrate on this year only I will. HC will struggle to move the ball and I would suspect Beechwood comes out a tad pumped in this one. HC played and lost against one average team and one very good 6A team that they had no chance against. Becchwood played a good Ohio team close and lost and an above average Dixie team and lost badly. So yes I will take Beechwood in this one because I do not think this is the year HC can pull off the upset.

I say Beechwood will have a running clock by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Tigers 56 Indians 20

Seeing how Lloyd manhandled Holmes last week, its hard to give HC a lot of credit. This could be a year much like last year for HC. I watched how badly HC line played against Holmes, so I think BW will just come after HC and the battle in the trenches will be the deciding factor. I would love to see HC win this, but it doesn't look good. I will say that next year, HC should have some really good skill kids. If they can get the line play to get better, they could be a force in 2A.

I'd be very surprised if the tigers don't win this one big. Not saying they get a running clock because they really haven't been doing that as much as they used to.

 

My thoughts

-I don't see the HC line blocking like dixie or Mt Healthy so I'm not sure they will get similar running game

-Holy Cross QB Scott running could be one of their better options

-I see several interceptions by Beechwood

-HC tackling did not look very good in either game. So I can see some break away runs by Studer and Stringer

-I think the ball will be well distributed by BW Fieger with lots of yards after catch.

-I expect at least one return for TD (either punt or KO)

 

Assuming grass field in good condition 48-14 Beechwood

If HC can run it they can win it.

If HC can run it they can win it.

 

If this happens, I predict that Rash will either jump or be thrown into the Licking River.
