Kentucky has a different problem then other states. Kentucky large public schools are often split to make two smaller schools, where as the large private schools in Kentucky stay large, and those two private schools cause all the hick hack about public/private. That is why Scott County's rise is SO important to Kentucky 6A football. But, if Scott County splits, like it looks like they are going to, then 6A is back to Public/Private Debates.

This is they type of game to show us what CCH is all about. If they travel up there on Friday night, and they compete 24-0, 28-7 type of score and lose. Ill take that. Ill take that than beat up boone 39-6 or Dixie 41-7. Now, Im not saying they schedule a full GCL Schedule. But i believe these boys get more out of playing moeller, elder, and St.Xavier compared to beating up 8 teams a year. As a Cov Cath supporter, I just want the boys to go up there and compete. I don't want to see another 52-7 loss

You sure seem to think Moe is getting 52. You're just not sure if CCH is getting a goose egg or 7.

I believe the problem with Alter is not so much about distance. But based on the the risk if Alter lost to CCH, it would be really bad to their playoff hopes based on the harbin system. It's great for them if they win. I do think it would be a interesting series.

Moeller is a great football team. I mean 2 straight Division state Champions. But i feel if Cov Cath went into the game with the right mindset, it doesn't have to be a blow out. Until recently, Cov Cath always competed against high caliber Ohio teams. In 2003 lost to St. Xavier 21-16. 2004, lost to Elder 10-9. 2005, Moeller 16-6. 2006 Elder 13-3 and St. Xavier again 23-3. All of those games were hard fought football games. THose games made me proud of those guys for competing at that high of a level. But your right, Im not sure if this CCH game can compete. Maybe they are to young to remember that CCH teams did it and so can they.

This CCH team will show up ready to play with every expectation to win. They have been underestimated since 7th grade and have never backed down. Moeller will show up ready to play because they are well coached. So will CovCath because the are. aloe well coached. I look forward to the game. Go Colonels
