Is Beechwood playing last years Mt Healthy team?:lol2:

 

They scrimmaged Elder fairly tough based on score. Here is a link to the Elder highlights. From the video they do look big on the line and athletic.

Mt Healthy looked pretty good to me.

This is a tough one for BW. I saw Mt. Healthy twice last year, they are very good. Their QB David Montgomery is special. I have read on here that some folks believe he is committed to Ohio State, which is not the case. He is on many radars, but as a RB. I have no idea who is back and who is gone for Mt. Healthy, but I was at their game vs Loveland, which I honestly thought was the semis, but I could be mistaken. They gave the Tigers all they wanted, game went right down to the wire. I will be surprised if BW is able to match up athletically.

 

I would love for Beechwood to win. I just think Mt Healthy will have too many athletes for Beechwood to deal with. They played Loveland really well last year and Loveland was the real deal..

Beechwood has some very good athletes, Mt. Healthy just has more. It is really just that simple in my opinion.

I would agree that Mt. Healthy has more athletes, but Homes has more athletes than BW, hasn't worked well for Homes most years.

Holmes isn't Mt Healthy....come on. Trust me I want the Tigers to win. I just think the Owls are better than Beechwood. JMO

Mt. Healthy is more athletic and talented than Holmes. I hope Beechwood wins; just believe it will be a big challenge.

I think this will be a great game. It will be a "right out of the shoot" test for Beechwood to see how they measure up against a strong unknown opponent. Win or lose, they will know what they have to do as players and coach's to get back to what they want to be...and that is State Champions. They have the "horses" and the experience this year with the Seniors and Juniors to get it done. If they can improve the work in the "trenches" and keep the Big Bodies fresh on both sides of the ball, they should have a good shot at winning this game and many more. Not many teams are going to "out athlete" this Beechwood team. Just my Opinion......

Obviously a typo, not saying the Holmes team is as good as Mt. Healthy, its just that an earlier post said that they had more athletes, trying to equate athletes to good football players. Obviously Mt. Healthy has a very good team, I just think that good football players trump good athletes.
