Scott County 35 Louisville Central 13 Scrimmage

Scott County varsity wins 35-13. Final scoreboard showed 42-34 in favor of Cardinals.

 

SCHS varsity rolled in this one... at one time leading 28-0 before Central scored to make it 28-7 at end of first quarter. Cards led 35-7 at halftime.

 

Central's varsity added a TD on the SCHS varsity defense to open the second half, then Scott County's varsity was taken out.

 

Have no clue when Central varsity was taken out, but I think added a few scores in the second half.

 

Both teams JVs ran 10 extra plays on offense after the final buzzer, as well.

 

Varsity scoring breakdown:

 

Clay McKee pass to Grayson Miller on opening drive, 7-0 SC.

 

SCHS recovers fumble on first Central play, next play Clay McKee playaction pass to TE Clark Griffith for TD, 14-0 SC.

 

Grayson Miller blocks punt, Keith Guy scoops and scores, 21-0 SC.

 

Clay McKee fade pass to Grayson Miller, 28-0 SC.

 

Central scores on long pass (looked like a post route to middle of field), 28-7 SC.

 

Sophomore fullback Jacob Burton rush up middle TD, 35-7 SC.

 

Central gets big kick return to start 2nd half, scores on QB option but Grayson Miller blocks XP, 35-13 SC.

 

Also, SCHS freshman team beat Central five TDs to three (don't think either team kicked extra points).
