As far as you Mr. Taylor----Did you see any of the games you mentioned? I'd be willing to say NO. First game with Anderson was anybody's game with 3:00 go, second one they got down early by about 19 and cut it to 6 and had the ball with 2:00 minutes to go, with Oldham the game was 4-6 points the whole game and Gallatin missed two lay-ups, if they would have fallen, it could have went either way. As far as the Grant game it was the second game of the year, ya Grant won by 11 I believe but once again was a 3-6 point game and Gallatin, no question played the worst game they played all year. So your double digit theory is for the birds.

Always good to be opposite of the favorite.

Gallatin might have wanted Grant but Grant beat them double digits during the season. The only team that Gallatin would beat is Carroll and they could not draw them. Anderson beat them double digits, Oldham beat them double digits and Grant beat them double digits.

Not making excuses, but stating facts. Scott Brown, who has a 28 point game to his credit this season, was out with an injury. Josh Giles, who was named to the 31st District All Tourney Team, received a cut above the eye 2 minutes into the contest and did not return until the 3rd quarter. And All-Region point guard Justin Davis got 2 quick fouls and was never a factor.

It was a 6 point game inside 3 minutes. The Braves widened the margin with FT's in the last 90 seconds. Plus they were at full strength.

Nobody is downing Grant, but every team has opponent they hope to draw and they were the Wildcats choice. In contrast, the Braves got the least favorable draw.

I love Mike Hester, he's a great player, but the 8th region is very very strong, I wouldn't become too confident. I believe Hester will get his every night though, I think the bigger question is whether or not the rest of the team will step up. Strong play from the inside is a must if Simon hopes to make a Cinderella run towards the sweet 16.

Very true! Time to lace them up! One thing though, the 8th is very top strong and not strong though out the region, like the 9th.

I also believe that SK needs big games from Philla Thrilla Shambach. They have to try to get him the ball, his only having 1 point on senior night was the difference in the game against Dixie. He needs more looks.

Hester is a great player but cannot do it all. He needs help from his supporting cast. And yes Stallion Phil must perform to the the high level that he is perfectly capable of. And the inside game has to show up for SK or they might as well not even get off the bus.

Anyone know directions to Henry County High School?

Why don't you move your alliances to another school, so you can stay in the great 9th region.

I-71S, left on US 421S at the Campbellsburg/New Castle exit. Stay on 421 'til you see HCHS on the left.
