They are trying to compile it to include the location, age, sex and race of the shooters and the victims. It also does not include data where officers were found at fault or when a non-felon was killed by law enforcement.

Class C felonies can include involuntary manslaughter in the first degree (can be a Class B or Class C felony), statutory rape in the second degree, possession of a controlled substance, and theft. September 6, 201412 yr Do you trust NBC? I don't. I noticed that they did not rule out Class C or D felonies, or misdemeanors. Just saw the link today and remembered the discussion about the record being released. In general, I don't really go to NBC for a lot of news, but that's not really because of anything concerning their reputation, just more of an effect of me only turning on cable for sports programming. In any event, that's the records that have been released so far. I do agree that Class C felonies include some pretty serious charges, but wouldn't really say that it's something that they lied about by just reporting that it didn't contain any Class A or B felonies. The rest is there for people to make whatever inferences they wish if they want to look into the information further.

However, you do have a point, NBC is misinforming its viewers by not explaining that the fact that Michael Brown committed no Class A or B felonies does not necessarily mean that he committed no felonies - which makes me wonder if NBC has additional information about Brown's record that it is deliberately withholding. Now that would be shameful.
