I'd also disagree with the initial assertion that Walt has put this team in a bad financial situation. Big Bob aka "fan boy" put the Reds in a bad financial situation. JV and BP's contracts were a direct result of Bob . The only moves I would support are moves that help starting next year. Any move aimed at trying to get a playoff spot this year would have been ill-conceived.

August 1, 201412 yr Before the season, I would have said bring him back. After watching the way this team has fallen apart and him doing nothing today about it, I say we don't renew with him.

August 1, 201412 yr Um, why? Nothing more than just liked him as a player. The Heisey,Crudwick,anybody else in LF is as boring as dirt. Him and Cespedes went to Oakland for Lester, just saying would have done that deal for Cueto.
