Former president is joining Grimes in Hazard on the 6th. There is going to be a spike in media coverage on the race this next week between this and Fancy Farm.

Supposedly Grimes's father and Bill Clinton are close friends. If so, Clinton may almost be a part time resident of KY he will be here so much.

 

Clinton is certainly a better supporter to have in KY than Sen Warren, I can't understand the thought process of bringing her into town. McConnell's defense will most likely be to attach Clinton's coal and gun views and do everything possible to argue that bringing someone with those views into KY contradicts ALG's claims of supporting coal and gun owners rights. At least that is the direction that makes sense.

Wonder if slick Willie will try to get little ole Allie in a coal mine alone for a few tender payback moments for being there to help her.

The bolded statement just begged for a follow-up question by the reporter. The kind of question that a candidate must either answer or dodge before her handlers can feed her a reasonable sounding answer. Does Grimes really think that the Iron Dome system is a barrier to tunnels or was this just a verbal gaffe?

"Obviously, Israel is one of our strongest allies in the Middle East, and she has the right to defend herself," Grimes said. I most certainly don't vote for someone because of their gender. If I did, I would have voted for John McCain because he put Sarah Palin on the ticket. Anyone who's been here a while knows how I felt about that fiasco.
