They want to make a move for someone if they're sending Jeremy Lin's contract and a pick to the Lakers, but it might be too little too late. The best way to go may be spending it on a few role players. The trio of Harden, Howard, and Parsons is enough to get them places, even in a loaded West. I think that in terms of bang for their buck, Gordon Hayward could add just as much value to what they have in place as Carmelo. I'm not sure there's enough shots to go around for Harden, Howard, and Carmelo, and even if there were, it's cutting into a guy like Parson's efficiency. As a Texan, a name that's really intriguing to me is Eric Bledsoe. I know the Suns would be able to match, but are the Rockets able to make him an offer that they won't match? I wouldn't think Bledsoe will be able to command the kind of money that some of the names they were already chasing were able to. If nothing else, according to how the market shakes out, they could add a guy like Paul Pierce, Kirk Hinrich, or Isaiah Thomas for depth and sit on the cap space for awhile.

July 12, 201412 yr Maybe Bosh will go back to playing like a man and not disappearing anytime someone bodies him up. His weak play was as much the reason the Heat couldn't hang with the Spurs as anything. Bosh gave the Heat almost nothing in that series, hopefully he'll go back to being an All-Star player.
