LeBron to sign with Cleveland

Featured Replies

The more I think about the more upset I get at the Cavs for not doing this trade yet. Wiggins would be a TimberWolf by now if I was in charge. It makes too much basketball sense to make this trade immediately.

Me too.

Just because Love isn't "athletic" doesn't mean he can't play. 26 and 12 isn't an accident.

Maybe, but unlike you and others I expect very very little from Andrew Wiggins. Athletic small forward???? Yeah, never seen one of those in the NBA. I am very skeptical of Wiggins and have no reason to believe he'll be better than Love. We KNEW Kobe was going to be a superstar. The jury is out on Wiggins. We'll see what he can do in time. If he proves me wrong the Cavs made the right move.

A lot of people KNEW Wiggins is going to be great too

I don't expect much from him...just asking questions, seeing how a year ago everyone was proclaiming him to be the next big thing. Love is really good and Wiggins may or may not be. I'm just bringing him up because everyone proclaiming his greatness seems to have jumped ship on him.

What will his numbers drop to if he comes to the Cavs? Or will the remain or possibly even go up?

This.

This. is why I go get Love. Plus he said he would sign an extension.

Cleveland is in the driver seat. When do they need Love? Not now. They need him about half way through next season to gear up for the playoffs. By then, Minnesota will be starting to panic and you might get Love without giving them Wiggins. Wait till January and see what things look like. If Love is gone somewhere else, then it wasn't meant to be and you hope Wiggins is what they say he is.

If they wait then the Golden State offer may be more tempting for them.

I know you said it wasn't meant to be if he was gone but why wait. I would rather have a full season for Love and LeBron to mesh.

I definitely get what you're saying, but I'm not sure I risk it.

Love should go to the Heat.

That would be crazy. :lol2:

No one else read this I guess, but I saw on fb the following post the day after LeBron announced his decision to go home:

Most popular google search in Cleveland yesterday: "How to unburn a jersey"
