That list says it all. Caldwell, DeSales, NCC stand out more

Somerset is VERY young this season!

Middlesboro may surprise a lot of teams this season.

Prestonsburg has been close last couple of seasons to Final 4.

There is no clear cut #1. NCC, Caldwell, Somerset and Desales lost a considerable amount of quality starters. Prestonsburg will probably enter into the conversation as the year goes on, but its a toss up. There's some turmoil in Middlesboro with the coaching change and Danville seems to be idle. Obviously, whoever stays injury free and can develope their undercalssmen the fastest will have the advantage.

Didn't they lose quite a bit from last seasons team? That could be why.

High school teams can change tremendously year to year and unless a program has history of sustained success at the highest level they're probably not going to get the benefit of the doubt going into the following year.

Don't fall asleep on CAL. They did beat Desales in the regular season. They lost to Male 6-0. They played the playoffs without their starting QB. They have a solid program and will be formidable again this year.

Agree with this. I have also heard some DeSales folks say they are going to be just as good this year as last year despite losing their stud QB and RB.

I'll let everyone else make their assumptions. All I'll say is I really like our team this year. Lot's of talent across the board.

We'll know more about NewCath after they get through that early season suicide schedule. New QB, new #1 receiver, lots of returning talent.
