Zombies are much faster than they appear. It's like they jump through another dimension when the camera moves to cover their victims.

If an attractive, unescorted woman hears any noise in a parking garage, she might as well call the medical examiner and report her own death.

The good guy can take a sledgehammer to the nads and barely flinch, but when the girl cleans one of his scratches he will grimace in pain.

In war movies, the guy who gets the "Dear John" letter always ends up KIA.

If the main characters wife or kid gets killed early in the movie, he's about to kill everyone. See the Patriot, Braveheart, A Man Apart, and etc.

The Outlaw Josie Wales, Death Wish

Finest example of this, of course, is when the blonde nurse is sewing up Swayze.

This was probably born in the movies but has been beaten to death in all of the police technical dramas: The idea that the whole office in a major city stops whatever the hell it is doing and throws all of its resources into solving a single murder. Highly laughable, given the reality of what they're doing coupled with the major expense involved.

In any chase scene if the good guys/cops start to lose the bad guys they can cut thru an alley or side street and magically come out just behind the bad guys car.

Blonde headed white guy is always an air head or super nerd.

Dark haired white guy is exactly the same but comes off as cool or aloof and gets the girl.

Ginger is always just a buddy to everyone, hardly ever has a girlfriend or is ever best friends with dark haired guy and no one would notice if that guy was left out of the movie...Ginger's get no respect.

Automatic Pistols making a clicking sound like a revolver when they are empty instead of locking with the slide back as they should.

People seem to always be able to outrun a blast wave from an explosion and never get burnt.

Firemen can rush into burning building with their coat open and no air bottle and fight fires (impossible in real life) BTW I hate Fire Scenes in Backdraft.

Secret Service are the most inept Body Guards in the world according to 99% of movies.

Speaking of explosions - is there continually burning fire in outer space? I really don't know.

All that would burn is whatever oxygen is inside of whatever was on fire, which would be instantaneous with the explosion.

They make a lot of noise until it's convenient that they don't...then they sneak up on you without a peep.
