In any sci-fi movie involving space travel, characters wearing red uniforms are expendable. They will die.

A speeding car is barely fast enough to outrun a speeding train and cross the tracks just in front of it.

Arnold kills roughly 31 bad guys for every scratch he suffers.

A manly protagonist always drinks his coffee black.

Females absolutely cannot stay on their own two feet when being chased by the bad guy; even if they're running on pristine level ground.

Any safe or lock can be opened in a matter of moments.

Geeky computer kids always know more about just about everything than their bumbling parents.

If the leading man is drinking wine, then you are watching a chick-flick. If he is drinking a martini or Scotch, your are watching an action movie. If he is drinking straight "whiskey," then it is most likely a western.

Movie IT characters fall into two camps. Most are geniuses that can break codes just seconds before somebody dies. The others are hopelessly incompetent and just stand in awe of the geniuses that effortlessly break into the most secure computer networks in the world.

If the main characters wife or kid gets killed early in the movie, he's about to kill everyone. See the Patriot, Braveheart, A Man Apart, and etc.

We were watching the Jaws movie the other night--the one with the Jamaican guy who gets killed at the very end. I told my daughter he was getting ready to die and she asked how I knew. I told her that I'd seen the movie before, but also said that black dudes always get killed in horror movies. It's a rule they forgot to mention in the Scream series.

My favorite black guy death of all time is when Jason punches the head off that boxer in Jason Takes Manhattan. :lol2:

If I ever write a horror screenplay, I'm having a black guy hero and he'll kill the psycho in the end. Then in the last scene, he'll celebrate his survival by going to Taco Bell for a 10-pack of Doritos Locos Tacos.

That's my favorite horror scene also. That's more realistic than a black guy running away and getting caught from behind. :lol2:

And after he leaves Taco Bell he gets hit by a car leaving drive thru. Gotta keep the true-isms going. :lol2:

No surprise food poisoning death or anything?

When a woman gets chased in a house she always runs upstairs...

Females absolutely cannot stay on their own two feet when being chased by the bad guy; even if they're running on pristine level ground.

They also cannot find and/or hang on to their car keys after they hear a noise in a deserted parking garage.
