I'm interested in both as well. Contract is up and both of these are on my "free" list if I re-up for two more years.

S5 is a good phone and better than the 5S

 

 

Really depends on what you have now and how invested you are into it.

 

 

Like with an Iphone, do you Facetime, care about Imessage, or have bought a lot of apps?

 

Same with the Galaxy/android phones.

 

 

 

If you're leaning Iphone then I recommend waiting until the Iphone 6.

I've heard good things about that phone, but the camera is clearly better on the S5 isn't it? And the S5 is water proof...how does it kill the S5?

I'm an Apple fan and anyone who suggests a 5S over a Galaxy is lying to themselves. The 6 might compete with the S5...the 5S doesn't.

That's a big incorrect IMO.

 

The M8 is a better build but to say it kills either is way off.

But....anybody ever think about going back to an old flip phone? I mean...are any of us really that important where we need to be in touch with the world 24/7/365.

 

Most, if not all of us have tablets and laptops that can do what our smart phones are capable of. Do we really need all that crap?

 

I for one am thinking about going back old school.

If you can wait about 2 weeks do that. Get the LG G3 when its released. You can thank me later. I have my HTC One M8 and I love it. Camera is eh but when G3 hits the shelves I will take it and not look back.

I have noticed a lot more of people going tablet with build in 4G and keeping old basic phone. It's not a bad option.

I would say more Android vs iOS. I dislike iPhone and Samsung. Mainly for the reason that I have felt last 2 Galaxy models feel cheaply made. I hate the terrible backing on the S4 and S5.
