June 21, 201412 yr Unwritten rules of baseball are stupid. Who cares if he stared? If you plunk him and gets on and scores than it hurts the team, just like the Diamondbacks the other day. What is worse than the unwritten rules is a piece of crap player like Francisco hits a HR against his old team and then gets all puffed up like he proved the old team wrong. Francisco has been through three teams now since he left the Reds so he has a lot of people on his list of those he is trying to prove wrong. On top of that, by all accounts I recall, Francisco basically wrote his own ticket off the Reds by the way he handled himself.

We were in the very top row of the stadium, in section 529. Not only were we in the shade, but had a GREAT breeze coming in from behind us that kept us very comfortable. Had seats 1,2&3, so I was looking straight down the aisle as the vendors came up. It was interesting, because at the beginning of the game (innings 1-3 or so) there were vendors that came all the way up to within the top 5 or 6 rows. But, the middle innings? Heck they maybe came up the first 5 or 10 and then just stood there and looked the rest of the way up. Looked like there was some serious poundage involved with the beer vendors and the amount of ice that they had. Felt for the guys that came all the way to the top.

I bet the number would be crazy high (then add carrying 30-50+ lbs. most of the game). Someone said they did it once and on avergage, you walk about 6-7 miles. I have no idea if that's accurate or not.

Yeah, I'm sure I was in your section some yesterday. I try to always make it at least half way up those aisles. Some vendors won't leave the bottom unless they get waved up. I sure am glad I was on the shaded side.
