Has 0-10 Team ever won a Kentucky state playoff game?

Featured Replies

Never heard of one but since the current playoff system has been around for a while I guess it might have happened. Hard to see an 0-10 team beating a district champ though.

A little early to start this up again isn't it :deadhorse::isurrender:

FWIW it seems that this question came up a few years ago and there was a team maybe a couple that had done so.

I know just about every season a 4 beats a 1 and in some cases a few do.

Now correct me if I am wrong. But the year that Highlands beat Boyle in State Finals, which was Chucks last at that time, didn't they use a illegal player and have to forfeit all the games he played in? If so they went 1-14. I am getting older and my mind is not what it use to be.

He didn't play in every game, but those forfeits were later reinstated when HHS won their court case if I recall correctly.

That is correct. Highlands did get the wins back in court. Also, they were 2 - 13 before the ruling.

Thanks, just could not remember.

Just like OJ, $$$ get's you justice!

Just like OJ, $$$ get's you justice!

Which is great when you're innocent, not so much when you're OJ.

Lol! That's exactly how it works!

See ya in October :lol2:

The fact that Highlands had to forfeit games it won when following a court order was ludicrous to begin with; the KHSAA was under poor management at the time and later events proved they stepped all over themselves trying to get out of their own way. the 'Birds won those games the old fashioned way with hard work and determination. Why is this even on a thread about 0-10 teams winning a playoff game?
