I spotted an "lineman sized" looking QB in those pics, WOW

I just looked that kid up, we have seen this type of QB before.

 

This kid is commited to Auburn and if he is 229lbs per his profile then the guy I am comparing him to is 275 right now...Just sayin

He was a Highlands football player, he was a role player that did what he had to do to help his team win and he was very good at it.

He is better than a role player. He is a superstar. Highlands will be fine, but he was going to have a storied season for the program.

 

He'll definitely have a great season at WC. He may not have the receiving yards, he may w/ his Dad calling the O. I don't know. I do know that he'll have a greater impact since he will be on the field for both O and D.

Beau will have plenty of targets to throw at this season but he will miss having a stud like Feggins who is strong as an ox and can go up and get balls like no other.

I expect Jenson to have a great season playing for WC. He has great strength and deceptive speed. He gets open, and he catches the ball. He is dangerous after the catch.

 

I am more intrigued by everyone's expectations for him on the defensive side of the ball. He played exactly ZERO downs of defense at HHS. That includes his freshmen season when everyone else except the QB played both ways. His next tackle as a high school football player will be his first.

Obviously I've never played the game but I would think that a player with his talent would have no problem playing the other side of the ball.

Then again, Eddie Edison had very few reps at safety his Junior year and ended up with 9 picks and was all state. I was thinking the same thing just the other day. Jenson is going to be one tired puppy when he plays Highlands....

 

Doug Ramsey of Elder still gets a standing ovation from me for how he coached that game that very "Warm" fall day. An outstanding coaching job!

You will find these days that coaches will tend to play their best WR's as DB's also unless they platoon. Wouldn't surprise me if they play their players both ways that Feggins finds the defensive side of the ball as well. It's no surprise many coaches play their best recievers both ways as it has become one of the most athletic positions these days. Feggins sounds like a very intelligent player and should be able to pick up the DB position fairly easy as LNG as he can tackle he should make for a very good DB. Deffinatly has the speed and the ability to go after the ball.
