Bad Senior Prank

Featured Replies

I heard on the news this morning that a NKY High School was vandalized as well as a local church as a part of a Senior Prank. If only that were the end of it. According to the report, the seniors also took an actual Goat from the FFA and kicked it to death.

I hope they get arrested and are not allowed to attend graduation.

There was a bad senior prank at Boyle county too.

What did they do?

What did they do?

I don't know exactly but the result was said to be more than $100,000 in damage to the gym floor.

That doesn't sound like a prank. It sounds like idiots drinking beer together and doing something stupid.

Which school...any more details..?

Boyle County High School. I don't have any other details that aren't hearsay. I was told (hearsay) that they rolled tractor tires full of water into the gym and that eventually led to severe water damage to the basketball court. But I don't know that to be fact.

Today's kids lack imagination. Years ago, my nephews class took apart a volkswagon and put it back together in the gym. Harmless prank. Pretty funny too. Lately these pranks seem so destructive.

Oneupmanship at its finest. And like you said, lack of creativity.

We set a teacher's car over the guardrail once. Nothing was damaged, just a few ruffled feathers. I can't imagine destroying something like this.

What is the purpose of pranks?

And even if you say it was harmless, then why did you do it?

Somebody still had to remove the Volkswagen from the gym.

Someone still had to remove the teachers car from the guardrail.

You say "harmless". But it still required someone's time and effort to undo said prank.

We had a funny one a couple of years ago. The seniors came to school at about 5:30am and parked their cards around the teacher parking lot, got out a grill, and started playing corn hole. There was no place for the teachers to park. It took some coordination and was funny.

So the next group of seniors can say, "Man, what those guys did in (insert grad class year here) was so epic. We gotta top that." And things escalate from there.
