Who wins and in how many games?

I say the Heat in 6. They are playing really well and are strongly benefiting from having an easy way to the finals thus far. Lots of rest for these guys and it's definitely helped Wade the most.

If Indiana wins, this will have been the most typical overreaction by ESPN ever. It will be awesome

Holding out hope for the Pacers, but unfortunately, I think they Heat take it in 7. They'll win the right to get beat on by the West champion.

Unfortunately, Miami in 5.

I'd feel a lot more confident about Miami losing in the finals if they didn't have such a cakewalk in the playoffs. The east compared to the west is a joke.

........

I said Miami in 6 because I don't think they'd win in Indiana in the 7th game. I'm a big Pacers' fan, but I just don't see the Pacers being able to flip the switch and get back to pre-All Star Game Indiana. Hope they do!! I loathe the Heat, so I want someone to beat them.

I do think it will be a better series than the experts do - but given how the Pacers have played, I understand why everyone is predicting a Miami boat-race.

Seeing them play against the Hawks, I would have to disagree. The Hawks were an 8 seed in a weak conference during a year when most were tanking for the loaded draft, and were missing their best player (Al Horford).

They took the Pacers, the team with the best record in the conference, to 7. Some of the games weren't even close, and you could tell that the Pacers had some major internal strife.

Since the playoffs have begun, I've said that one of the best rivalries in the NBA might be the Pacers against each other. You can tell that there's some animosity between Stephenson and some other members of the team. In Game 6 against Washington, you see David West and Paul George get into a shouting match after a miscommunication.

This isn't even touching on the moves that sent away Danny Granger, a guy who was really respected in the locker room, and brought in guys like Evan Turner, Andrew Bynum, etc. who have questions about how well they've blended or how hard they work.

Another dirty play by DWade. Go figure. Dirtiest player in the league.

Wade is a hall of fame player no doubt and always seems to come through in the clutch. But man, how many injury related incidents does he seem to be in where what he does can be considered dirty?

Really hoping for the Pacers to take game 2 but it just wasn't meant to be. It comes down to this. Miami has two star players, Indiana has zero. Lance expended about all he had from the mid-second quarter to the mid-third quarter. Went beast mode.

I think the Pacers can give the Heat problems, but at the end of the day, aren't enough of a well-oiled machine to overcome them if both are playing at full strength (at least with what each has this year).

I thought Birdman gave Miami some huge minutes last night and will get some serious clock if he keeps playing like that. I liked the Heat with he, Bosh, LeBron, Wade, and Allen/Chalmers. Bosh could stretch the Pacers out, Birdman held his own well enough, and LeBron had a shooter to kick to (especially late when he realized they were triple-teaming him on drives.

Defensively, the Heat changed their game plan and were flying all over the court, trying to jump in passing lanes when the ball was entered into the post and/or swiping, stripping, and digging at the ball when the offense tried to make entry passes. It seemed to work last night, and we'll see if the Pacers are able to adjust going forward.

Also, more times than not, you're not going to see great offensive output from Paul George against Miami because he has to spend so much energy guarding LeBron.

Indiana can win if Wade and James have solid games, they can't win if a third person does. Just don't have the fire power.
